Együttesünk 2004 májusában alakult egy átmulatott éjszaka során, amikor is a büszke szülők,
Jakab Viktor gitáros, akit korábban az Undertaking basszistájaként ismerhettek meg a szigorú zenék hívei, valamint jómagam, Kovács Attila, a Varso zenekar favágóművésze tetemes mennyiségű alkohol elfogyasztása után rájöttünk: "Márpedig nem élet az élet aktív zenélés nélkül!"
Ebben a szellemben nekiláttunk a megfelelő ritmusszekció keresésének.
Kozsup Tamás (ex-Hermetic) dobos és Gáti Sándor (Abstract) basszusgitáros csatlakozásával kialakult a 2005. július 17-éig tartó felállás. Ebben az időben elkészítettük a "Dream with maggots" címet viselő EP-nket.
2005. október 28-tól Mester Róbert (ex-Neural Booster) dobol a hordában.
2006. áprilisában Jakab Viktor kiszállt a bandából.

Zenekarunk stílusának meghatározásakor nem szeretnénk szemfényvesztő, marketing-szagú kifejezésekkel dobálózni - ez egyszerűen csak metal, ahogyan mi szeretjük.
Az eddig elkészült számainkat az alábbi zenekaroktól loptuk: Slayer, VoiVod, Morbid Angel, Crowbar, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Today is the day, Neurosis, de felsorolhatnánk még ezer hasonló zenei világú hordát is.
Szövegeinkkel sem törekszünk a világ megváltására, dalaink politikailag inkorrektek, cinikusak és szexisták, ahogy az minden rendes metalbandához illik.

Nervekiller was founded in May, 2004 after an all-night-long party, in the small hours, when the proud parents,
Viktor Jakab, who could be familiar for the fans of extreme music as the bassist of the Undertaking, and Attila Kovács, axeman of the band Varso, after a big load of booze realized: "Life is shit without playing music."
In this spirit they immediately began searching for the suitable rhythm section.

When identifying the band's style we wouldn't like to talk big, it's metal - the way we like it. The songs which has been finished were stolen from Slayer, VoiVod, Morbid Angel, Crowbar, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Today is the day, Neurosis and we could list a thousand more with the similar style. Neither we aim to change the world with our lyrics, our songs are politically incorrect, cynic and sexist - as a typical metal band should do it.
